Elissa Nelson (soon to be Elissa Epoch as she just got married!) is a Paraplanner with The Goodland Group. She has a passion for financial education and wealth management.
Elissa studied Agricultural Economics at Washington State University, where she discovered a passion for financial education and wealth management. Motivated by a desire to empower individuals through personalized financial guidance, she transitioned into the advisory space to make a direct impact on clients’ financial well-being.
After graduation, Elissa began her career at a Seattle-based financial planning firm, Brighton Jones. She quickly grew in her role and took on additional planning and advising responsibilities with clients over her two years with the firm. Elissa joined The Goodland Group because she wanted to do deeper financial planning work for clients, and she wanted to join a small female-run firm with awesome clients.
At The Goodland Group, Elissa is an integral part of the planning process for our clients. As a paraplanner for Cyndi’s clients, Elissa supports clients with everything from scheduling and data gathering to retirement calculations, insurance analysis, tax projections, and equity compensation research. She plays a key role in making sure our clients are taken care of from a financial planing, service, and operations perspective.
